Fear of Success (FOS) dan Pengembangan Karir pada Wanita Bekerja (Studi pada Karyawati PT. Telkom, Tbk., Bandung)
Abstract
Fear of success is a new issue in human resource management which mostly happen to women.
Because it is closely related to gender, many people are interested to learn. The purpose of this
research is to analyze FOS and career development, and the impact of FOS on career development
in working women at PT.TELKOM INDONESIA,Tbk in Bandung. This method used in this
reasearch is survey method that asking 79 respondents who are women, to become an object and
answer a questioner. The result shows that working women at PT.TELKOM INDONESIA,Tbk in
Bandung has low fear of success. It is based on the indicator of it’s three dimentions, which are loss
of feminity, loss of social self-esteem, and social rejection. The results shows that working women at
PT.TELKOM INDONESIA,Tbk in Bandung has high career development. It is based on indicators
of it’s two dimentions, which are career planning and career management. The result shows that
impact of FOS on career development in working women at PT.TELKOM INDONESIA,Tbk in
Bandung is 8,9%.
