The role and contribution of the Indonesian creative industry are still not accompanied by the ability to improve productivity. One significant drawback is the low access to technology to assist operations. In fact, Indonesia is a country with a demographic bonus, support the potential of natural resources, geographical conditions conducive to doing business, as well as the market potential is still unexplored optimally, should be a country with the development of creative industries a high level with countries such as Britain, Australia, Japan, or South Korea.
This study aims to identify the model of the technology used in the creative industries in Indonesia and its effects on productivity improvement efforts in order to deliver on the development of small and medium enterprises in Indonesia, especially to win the competition in the global market through quality standards in accordance with the market.
This study uses a mix method that describe the degree of correlation between the use of technology and productivity as well as an overview model of appropriate technologies required by products of creative industries in order to improve the productivity of their operations.
The results of this study are expected to contribute to the technological model that is effective in helping Indonesia's creative industries to improve productivity and win the competition in the global market.
